Day 01 MIAMI-LA PAZ: Depart Miami for La Paz, Bolivia via American Airlines. (Dinner and breakfast on board). Day 02 LA PAZ: Arrive in La Paz where you will be met and accompanied to hotel selected. Balance of day to rest and get used to the high altitude. Day 03 LA PAZ-TIAHUANACO-LAKE TITICACA: Half day sightseeing tour of the ancient ruins of Tiahuanaco, capital of a great civilization that started in 1580 B.C and at the height of its splendor (700 AC) covered part of Peru, Bolivia and Argentina. You will see its Aqueducts, Temples, Palaces, the Gate of the Sun and some of their mysterious monoliths. Then continue to the shores of Lake Titicaca for hotel Inca Utama. In the afternoon you will visit the Eco and Altiplano museums. Fishing on Lake Titicaca for some trout ...then dinner. At night, be ready to experience the Aymara Horoscope and myths of the skies. You will enjoy their constellation and ancestral legends in the "Alajpacha" a native observatory. (B,L,D). Day 04 LAKE TITICACA-COPACABANA: Wake up at the sound of the "Pututu" -a native alpine horn- to see the Sunrise and experience like the local people, the energy of the Sun God. Full day excursion by Hydrofoil to visit the colorful Andean town of Copacabana. Stop will be made to visit the Sun Island and drink water from the Sacred Spring -believed to be the source of eternal life. Return to the Inca Utama for overnight and a chance to discover the spiritual world of the Callawayas -masters in natural medicine of the Andes. Within their concept you must first heal the spirit before you can heal the body . A meeting with a Shaman who will tell your fortune as He casts and reads the Coca leaves. Overnight at the Inca. Utama. (B,L, D). Day 05 LAKE TITICACA-LA PAZ: Morning at leisure to enjoy Lake Titicaca on your own, time to meditate or take an optional excursion to visit Suriqi Island famous for its boats made of reeds. Here they built the RA II and Tigris, for Thor Heyerdhals epic expeditions. Mid-afternoon return to La Paz to your hotel. (B, L). Day 06 LA PAZ: Morning city tour of the Capital of the Altiplano (13,000 feet high) with the impressive Illimany Mountain (21,000 feet high) in the background . You will visit the Open Air Museum and Tiahaunaco Art collection, Casa Murillo (Colonial Museum), the local and picturesque witch Doctor’s Street , the 16th Century San Francisco Church, the residential area of Obrajes and the unrealistic Moon Valley. (B) Day 07 LA PAZ: Day at leisure to explore La Paz on your own -a city of contrasts- a unique blend of Spanish and Andean customs- great for shopping with good bargains for sweaters, ponchos, blankets, silver, gold and all kinds of hand made handicrafts. Overnight at hotel selected .(B) Day 08 LA PAZ-MIAMI: Transfer to the airport for flight to Miami and homeward bound. (B)

Day 04 SUN. LAKE TITICACA-COPACABANA-PUNO Wake up at the sound of the "Pututu" -a native alpine horn- to see the Sunrise and experience like the local people the energy of the Sun God. (B, L). Day 05 MON. PUNO-CUZCO Transfer to the train station for a full day ride across the Altiplano as you pass through many villages. Arrive in Cuzco, where you will be taken to hotel selected. (B) Day 06 TUE. CUZCO-PISAC MARKET-OLLANTAYTAMBO-CUZCO Every week hundreds of natives from the sorrounding areas come down to Pisac to celebrate mass or to sell/trade their wares. It is a great opportunity to buy sweaters, ponchos, handicrafts, jewelry and enjoy the bargains. After lunch, visit the impressive Inka fortress of Ollantaytambo. Return to Cuzco and to your hotel. (B) Day 07 WED. CUZCO Morning sightseeing tour of Cuzco -at one time Capital of the Inca Empire- and visit to the ruins nearby such as the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca-Pucara and the Inca Spa of Tambomachay. (B) Day 08 THU. CUZCO-MACHU PICCHU Full day excursion by train to the most mysterious, energetic and powerful place of the Inca civilization. Early morning your tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to the train station for your 3 1/2 hour trip with spectacular views of the Urubamba River and the Andean mountain range to Machu Picchu. Temples, palaces, towers and staircases are built into the side of the mountain. Here your tour guide will take you from site to site explaining the advanced world of the Incas. Overnight at hotel selected. (B) Day 09 FRI. MACHU PICCHU-CUZCO Day at leisure to explore Machu Picchu.(You can hike Huayna Picchu or go to the Intipunku -Gate of the Sun- or visit the small town of Aguas Calientes and its thermal baths on your own.
