DAY 2 PANAMA-AM City tour
(private)
Start your day with a sightseeing
tour of the vibrant and modern
Panama City, where you will explore
some of the most captivating sites
the city has to offer. Discover the
charm of “Casco Antiguo,” Panama
City’s historic old quarter, which
dates back to the 17th century. This
UNESCO World Heritage Site is home
to Franco-Spanish heritage, with
beautiful historical churches,
picturesque squares, and iconic
monuments. Many of the buildings
have been meticulously restored to
their colonial glory, offering a
glimpse into Panama’s rich past.
Modern Panama City is a striking
contrast to its colonial
counterpart. The skyline is rapidly
changing, with new hotels, office
buildings, condominiums, and homes
springing up at an impressive rate.
Here, you’ll find a blend of
imaginative architecture and
nostalgic design, making the city a
dynamic mix of old and new. No visit
to Panama is complete without
experiencing the Panama Canal. We
will proceed to the Miraflores
Locks, where you’ll get a chance to
witness one of the world's most
impressive engineering feats in
action. The locks’ operation is an
awe-inspiring sight and offers a
deeper understanding of the Canal’s
significance to global trade. Panama
is home to seven indigenous tribes,
each with its own unique traditions
and craftsmanship. During your
visit, you’ll have the opportunity
to browse through beautiful
handcrafted items, that are
available in the Artisan shops.
After this cultural tour, enjoy a
delicious lunch at a local
restaurant before returning to your
hotel.

DAY 3 PANAMA EMBERA VILLAGE
(private)
In the morning, we will depart after
breakfast and board our motor coach
and head towards the embarking site
to the Embera Village. Then we will
transfer to a boat for a scenic
journey through the dense,
fascinating jungle, continuing
towards the Embera Village. Located
deep within the rainforest, the
village is home to the Embera
people, one of Panama’s seven
indigenous tribes. Upon arrival, the
Embera will greet tourists at the
pier and offer you a warm welcome,
giving you the chance to learn about
their unique way of life. This
experience provides an authentic
glimpse into thousands of years of
culture and tradition, long before
European explorers arrived in the
Americas. As you explore the
village, the Embera women will
prepare a traditional snack, giving
you an opportunity to sample their
culinary customs. You will gain
insight into their rich heritage,
their art, crafts, and the deep
connections they have with the land.
